Dave, his daughter Emily, and his grandson Tanner recently went on the Kenya Missions Trip together as they followed God's call to live Unhindered. Check out what Dave had to say about this opportunity:
 
“The message of Unhindered had a giving component but for our family it is much more than that. It means trusting God’s leading even when you can’t see the steps. This year when the announcement was made about the Kenya trip my wife Judi said, “I don’t know how, but you need to go this year.” We talked about it at a family dinner and my daughter, Emily, said she was feeling called to go too. Then a few weeks later, my grandson Tanner was sitting in church with his parents, when they announced that the mission team needed more members. Tanner looked at them, they asked if he wanted to go on the trip and he didn’t hesitate. He said yes.
 
We couldn’t see the steps but we had decided to follow God’s leading in an Unhindered way. 
 
Then my planning and organizing side showed up. I looked at the money that would need to be raised and I started working on “fixing” it. I planned it all out, but it didn’t work. Every time I took a step on my own, something else came up or fell through. When one of us would get down or worried, the rest of the family came together to refocus and get back on track. It wasn’t until I surrendered this trip and my family to God’s guidance that it came together. I praise God that he provided all the funds needed to go. God is doing great things in our family as we learn to walk each day Unhindered.”
